$50! I need some lessons in frugality from you, LOL I'm Canadian so we don't have Aldi. Food here is insane! But at our age (I'm 52, hubby is almost 54) we try to eat healthy. We have no choice but to spend the money. We're way too old for Mr Noodles and KD.

Everything's going up. I have a friend who works at a food bank and she was telling me that they're getting like 20 new families a week (in a city of just under 18,000) and most of them are working people, some with decent jobs, but interest rates have gone up, making their mortgage payments high and then utilities are through the roof...it's scary.
