A fine article. I knew a couple, they were in their 70s that kinda did this, they stayed together but lived in separate homes. Honestly, I think they were just too cheap to divorce.
Maybe this appeals to some. I can see that. But It's not for me. I'm with the love of my life after 20 years of being apart. We've been together for 8 years, marriied fo 6. Granted, we're "of a certain age". However, we're each other's best friend, we love beign together. I can't imagine being involved with someone where that's not the case. But hey, if it works for some people, who am I to judge? It's just not for me.
