Being a lawyer is tough. Law school isn’t all that hard, aside from getting in. The job, well, it isn't terrible, you know aside from the BS. And that’s one of the reasons I left. I couldn’t do the BS anymore.

I’m a no-nonsense, no-bullshit kind of chick. That both works brilliantly and terribly in the legal profession.

In my 3 years on Medium, I’ve read a lot of comments from fellow former lawyers. I’ve read a lot of stories from fellow former lawyers. They’re always entertaining. Sometimes they’re downright hilarious.

Nothing in this publication is meant to be legal advice and please do not take it as such. If you do, you’re the people we’re writing about, just sayin’. If you’re getting legal advice on Medium or any other social media site, you need to examine your life choices.

Now, to the rules because, you know, law talkin’ chicks…we’re about rules. So here they are:

  1. You actually have to be legally educated. A lawyer, former lawyer, law clerk, legal assistant, whatever. I don’t care. It’s mostly law-talkin’ chicks, but if you’re a retired judge, I won’t shun you.
  2. If you’re a law-talkin’ dude, you’re also welcome.
