Advice To The Young
Hi kids!
I know the last thing you want to hear is a bunch of advice from some greying, out-of-touch Gen Xer who thinks Hall & Oates is still relevant, and Jimi Jamison was way sexier than Harry Styles will ever be.
Well, too bad, there’s a prompt that says it’s my turn to say a few things. Don’t blame me, it’s Nancy Blackman, MASF’s fault, look:
Believe it or not, I was young once. And I survived. I also learned a thing or two, or six. So, sit back, and listen up. Don’t make me shake my cane at you. Just kidding, I don’t have a cane. I move faster than most of you. I know, I’ve been behind you at the mall.
All that said, here are some pearls of wisdom from a Gen Xer and mother of 3 Millennials. Take heed, some of this will save you a lot of trouble.
