I had to have this conversation with my son a few months ago. He went to work at a steel plant and the conditions were not only unsafe, but criminally so. In theory, workers have the right to refuse unsafe work, but in practice, it isn't like that, and he was a temp to boot. I told him to fuck it, he can't work if he's dead. The company wouldn't have waited till the Monday after the funeral to post the job, it would have been up the morning after the incident.
