All kids have a hard time at some point or another. I'm multiracial. My father was Black. My mother was White. They were together in the late 60s and early 70s until my mother's untimely death in 1971, 3 weeks after my birth. My father wasn't permitted to keep me, a very white looking baby. His brother adopted me just to keep me in the family (also, none of my mother's family wanted any little (insert word here) children).

Yes, I faced racisim on both sides. And yes, I had my own set of identity issues. And here I am at 51, happy healthy and loving my varied ethnicty. I wouldn't trade it for anything!

People need to mind their damn business! I've never met a kid, Black, White, green or purple, rich, poor, or in between that doesn't struggle at some time with something. Some struggle more, but some struggle less, but any struggles I had that came from my race were brought to me by others.
