An Annoying This or That
No, I’m not saying This or That challenges are annoying or that this one created by Karen Schwartz is particularly troublesome:
In fact, I’m finding it quite enjoyable because it’s about things that annoy us, pet peeves. And like any menopausal 50-something woman worth her salt, I have a lot of them. Let’s see which ones offend me more than others.
What bothers me more — People who talk loudly on their cell phones in public or people who ignore your texts?
Ignoring texts only bothers me if my text is important. And really, if what I have to say is that important, more fool me for texting and not calling.
People who talk loudly on cell phones piss the living daylights out of me because it conveys a sense of entitlement and self-importance that I really hate.
People who do this either feel entitled to disrupt the peace and quiet of others with their inane chatter, or they feel they are so very special that their conversation is super impressive.
