Apparently, you're living with 1950s stereotypes or, more likely you don't know many women. We now come with all sorts of different preferences, likes, dislikes, etc. Who'd have thought, eh! Maybe your wife loves to shop, that's cool. I don't, for me, it's a necessary chore. My husband, however, loves it.

I suggest you take your own advice, you know, "always respect a lady." That respect includes not subjecting them to the stereotype you used. No, if you'll excuse me, I have to go change the oil in my car while my husband makes lunch. ;)
