Asperger's Syndrome is indeed a form of autism. HK might not mean any harm, it could very well be a "thing" he does, more of a habit or a ritualistic type behaviour. I'm also autistic and I do some strange shit too, I don't over-highlight, but yeah, I'm sure some of the stuff I do annoys the crap out of people too.

As an aside, when I was in school, like Jr High, I totally over-highlighted my textbooks when studying. It was my obsessive way of letting myself know I read whatever it was.

He highlights the shit out of my stuff too. But in fairness, he also does actually read it and sometimes makes very meaningful and insightful comments.

I do get how it can be annoying to see your stories all marked up at record speed. It doesn't but me, but it clearly bothers you, but hey, we all have different tastes, prefernces, etc.
