BAM! You said exactly what I've felt so, so many times! I've often been envious of those that have a religious belief. It's so much easier. It's so simple and so comforting to believe there's more, that there's a plan and a set of rules set down by "someone". I was rasied Baptist and I tried. I started, but didn't finish a conversion to Judiasm. It was always that pesky believing in God thing that was a problem for me. Intellectually, I couldn't reconcile it. That said, I have no issue with what others believe from Christianity to Judiasm to Buddhism to Wicca to whatever. Like you, I'll fight for thier right to believe and/or practice it, I wuold just like the same courtesy.

I'm sorry about the loss of your dog. I wish I had some aords of comfort, but, well, see above. All I have is the hope that you can somehow take comfort in the knowledge that while she was here (and the same with your other pets, as I think I read soemthing about a cat too), you gave them the best life possible.

Damn, girl, now you got me fired up to write a rant.! You really need to stop giving me ideas, I was wanting to go back to bed and now, I can't! LOL
