Clearly, I'm not "one of you" in the way you describe in this story. I'm pretty damn near white. Funny, I always envied the beautiful Black women in my family who had (and have) stunning dark skin and what I suppose one would call African features. To me, they're stunning and I'm still kinda jealous.
Just think about the wisdom, the strength, the intelligence, resilience that's been passed down through that melanin, hair and features, not to mention to beauty.
You are absolutely without question good enough. My sisters are good enough. My aunties and cousins are good enough. You are perfect as you are and if a man can't handle that, HE'S not good enough. That's his insecurity screaming, not yours.
