Damn right! I was dumbfounded. It looked cool? Come on! And not one emmber of staff pulled him aside and said, "hey, man....might be a bad idea?" These people haven't been living under a rock, they aren't that dumb.

I just don't know any more what it's going to takr to make the point. Nothing, literally nothing, has changed since I was a sad little biracial kid in the 70s and 80s, being excluded and ridiculed. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's gotten worse. I can't imagine how the black kids felt that day in school. I wonder how many there were? Schools are bound by the Charter and Human Rights acts.....I wonder if anyone is considering legal action? I don't pactice any more, but if MY child had to endure that, I would consider ALL of my options.
