Exactly! I grew up in the 70s and 80s and was always told I was too skinny. My father kept running me to the doctor to find out what was wrong with me until one day the doctor said to him, “she’s small, they make children like that.” I had to wear kid’s sizes as a teenager, and they looked ridiculous because I had curves. I write this article out of sheer frustration because honestly, I’m over what everyone thinks of my size or lack thereof and I’m especially over the nasty memes and taunts about anyone’s size (or any other attribute, for that matter).
