First, thank you so much for the mention. I wrote that off the cuff right after seeing the damn thing! I have more thoughts now, after some reflection, but they all come down to the same thing; I think Will has some problems. I think he's dealing with some shit privately that's been put out there for public consumption and he reacted badly. Was it wrong, yeah, sure was. I think a long time out, some soul searching and some therapy (if he can find a decent therapist that deals with Black trauma) is in order.

That said, I love your open and honest discussion here. I think a lot of us of a certain age that grew up with Fresh Prince, etc. bought the "good guy" narrative. It was nice, it was comforting, we liked it. When something comes along and challenges that, it's difficult to stop, think and recognize our own congnitive dissonance. It takes true intellectual honesty and integrity to do that. Just imagine how much different our world would be if everyone could follow your example here and apply it to other things in life. Just a thought, it could just work....:)
