FL is one of the states I've actually never considered moving to. That's odd considering I'm Canadian and fleeing to FL is what we do, at lest for half the year. There's even a name for us, Snow Birds.

That said. I've been to FL once. I wasn't a fan. Of course, I flew into Orlando, stayed at a resort in Kissimmee and took my now ex husband to a Nascar race in Daytona. All spanning the 4th of July weekend. The heat. Lord, the heat! And the tourist traps, yuck, yuck, and yuck.

Of course I know that's not how the entire state is, but the image is in my head now.
