Girl, I can't tell you what to do (so obviously what comes next is me telling you what to do, LOL)...write about crime. And write about crime even MORE! A couple of things stand out here.

First you said this user said you shouldn't write about crime and that "she wanted to quit writing about it as well." So, she writes about crime...hmmmm. This, to me, begs the question, mental health concern or just wanting you not writing on what she perceives as her turf, so to speak? It smacks of that user being threatened by you.

As my mother always used to tell me, if you're pissing someone off, you're on the right track. :)
