Good for you. I had one woman call me out publicly in my comments once for a typo. My reply, "Wow, thank you so much, you must feel very proud of yourself spotting a typo, good for you, your mommy must be so proud!" If someone wants to be a jerk, I'm happy to assist them in exposing themselves in that regard. She blocked me after that. I just love when the trash takes itself out.

I don't mind if a writer I know approaches me privately and points out a typo, because goodness knows they happen. Grammar is something else as much of what I write is, while grammatically correct in a technical sense, is very informal and more of a conversational type style. That's usually pretty evident to most people. And if it isn't, I ignore them.
