Great article and tips. I've won 3, was a runner up in 2 and placed in that Ukraine challenge. I've never won a fiction challenge (well aside from being a runner up in the fiction awards last year). My fiction isn't as strong as my other stuff, it just isn't.

That said, I've done 2 entries for this one, one is waiting to be approved and while they won't set the world on fire, I can at least say they do comply with the rules. ;)
