Here's the thing, at least for me. I grew up with a mother that was a huge Royal watcher. I was 10 years old when Charles and Diana wed and got up at 5 am to watch it. Anyway, maybe the Queen should have left well enough alone and let Chuckie marry Camilla back in the day rather than turning up her nose and seaching for someone more "suitable," as you noted. I can testify from personal experience that being pushed aside as unsuitable doesn't work long term. My current husband's father broke us up as kids because I was "unsuitable" due to my race. Well, well, how things change.
I don't really care about the Royals, but there's a small part of me that kinda wonders if Camilla ever sat there at the table and thought to herself, "how you like me now, bitch?" I'd guessing yes. That kind of hurt doesn't go away, but man karma sure can be fun.
