Here's the thing, I'm a 53-year-old woman with 3 grown men. It was my choice to have and raise my children. They're 34,32 and 30.

Every single one of them has voted no on children. No outrage there from society.. Why are they not selfish?

Selfish is having a child you can't afford, that you don't want just to gain an advantage. Selfish is forcing your child to become your mini-me in the hopes of reliving some unfulfilled dream.

It's perfectly reasonable and responsible to know that you aren't inclined and do not want children. It's more than that, it's brave and smart. it shows that you know yourself and the life you want.
