Honey, I'm an atheist and I've often found myself on my damn knees in prayer, so any prayers, well wishes, advice, whatever is most welcome. When it comes to our kids, well...you know.

Last week, I had to call from SK, where I am to ON to have the cops pick him up for his own safety. He spent 48 hours in hospital on a 72 hour hold and somehow was able to talk his way out because he's that smart and that good. He was walking into Walmart and Liquor stores and just stealing beer. As much and as often as he wanted, just walking out. Never challenged, never caught. And with his temper....well even the slightest disrespect on the street can turn into a very violent episode. And he's a big strong boy, 6'4". I actually prayed he'd end up in jail so at least I'd know he was safe. Not kidding. Instead, he went to detox...so fingers crossed, but, I'm cautious...I've been through the highs before and always end up coming crashing down...If you ever need to talk to someone who gets it, I'm here: mistyjohnsonparker@gmail.com
