I completely relate to this. I wrote a couple stories in a similar vein. I had my first stalker at 10, yes 10. Others followed. I too was stalked by a cop, who originally supposed to be responding to my call about another kid stealing my kid's skateboard. I've been grabbed, approached aggressively, harassed, you name it. At almost 53, I still have issues surrounding it. I'm constantly on guard and always aware of my surroundings.
Funny, there's not a lot of sympathy. I get a lot of, "Oh, poor thing, poor pretty girl, must be tough that men like you," and shit like that.
Being pretty isn't some magic bullet that makes life perfect and unwanted attention can not only be annoying, but dangerous, even deadly.
