I don't do late. I was raised in a military family. If I'm 10 minutes early, I'm concerned about being late. Also, I am NOT a patient person.

As you noted, chronic lateness is an attention seeking power move. It's one I don't appreciate.

My husband is one of those people. He's always late. I straight out confronted him because I was sick of his shit. I love him to death, but yeah...we're not doing that. It was ridiculous. Stupid shit like HIM having an appointment the HE scheduled and still fucking around.

And there's no excuse now. Sorry, yeah, we all may run late from time to time, but we know when it's going to happen some time in the process and a quick text or call advising and apologizing goes a long way. You hit a nerve, I could go on and on and on...
