I don't know how many times I have had to explain this to people, so thank you for bringing it up. Harry has, to my mind, a toxic relationship with the media. He's grown up with it. He hates it. He also has no idea how to live without it even if he wants to on some level.

Meghan, getting with him, obviously has spent the last several years in the media's glare. And it hasn't been nice.

I think they just came to the realization that the media's always going to be there, they've just decided to take control of the narrative and the time and place. That's not hypocrisy, that's a reasonable choice.
