I don't think I said, or even hinted, that it wasn't. Of course it's acceptable, there are plenty of people who were chubby kids and became overweight adults. It's a fact of life, people, including children come in all shapes and sizes. So, of course it's okay to say that. I disagree with your assertion that "no one wants to try and fix them," as regards skinny people. They do, through constant pressure to "have one more bite," or the insinuations that an eating disorder must be involved for a person to be the size they are. Nobody needs to be "fixed" and nobody needs to try and prop themselves up or make themselves feel better by ridiculing someone else. Some people are big, some people are small, it's always been that way and it's always going to be that way so we might as well get over it already.
