I get what you're saying, but I don't accept the masculine/feminine polarity. Again, it might be a cultural thing, I can't say. But for us, it's just how our strengths and weaknesses work. My husband isn't willing to "let me" take the dominant role, it just is. There was no discussion, it just happened naturally.

My racial makeup is, aside from with White European, Nigerian, Wedtern Bantu and Ivory Coast, perhaps if I'd been raised in my more traditional cultures, I'd have seen things differently. I can't say for sure, but in my life, here in Canada, it's not masculine or feminine, it's 2 people using their strengths to try to get by.
