I hated mine too. The teenage years are a time when we so desperately want to fit in, and I couldn't. My mother used to try to boost me up by telling me I wasn't like all the "white girls with 3 names" (think 90's tv). I still have a size 0 waist and a size 6 ass...try buying pants with that! I was always tiny, but with a big butt and what my coaches called "powerful" thighs. I love it now. I love all of it now, the juicy ass, the small waist, the thick powerful legs, the curly hair....these are the gifts my ancestors gave me and at 50, I wear them with a defiant pride. Oh, and by the way. my quick mind, for anyone who wants to know....yeah, that also came from my daddy's side. So happy to connect with you too.
