I have 3 children who are now grown men. My oldest and his wife have chosen not to have children, and sorry, I say good for them. My son didn't even like children when he was one of them! First off, children are NOT the best part of a marriage, spending life with the person you love and have chosen is. Some people are cut out for, and want children, and that's great. But have you ever seen the result of a couple having a child that isn't wanted? Abuse, neglect, etc? It's much more reasonable and mature to know oneself and to know that you're not willing to share and devote your life to a child. I find your article judgmental and rooted in 1950's morality. If you're happy with your life and your decision to have children, that's great. Others are free to order their affairs and their families as they see fit.
