I like it for the challenges, but for me, it's next to impossible to make any money on reads. I' ve won the challenges I've listed and I have a total (TOTAL) of just over 3300 reads. At $6 per 1000 reads, well...you can do the math.

On Medium, I get at least 3 - 4 times that amount each month as far as readers go.

That said, when I am fortunate enough to win a challenge, it's a great boost to the old bank account and the exchange from USD to Canadian funds is very beneficial to me.

In Vocal, you can't even publish a story without a subtitle. But My subtitle for my entries (I did 3) was "Chapter 1 - "whatever I named the chapter". Then I started the body of the piece with the beginning sentence.
