I, like Meghan, am mixed race, but white presenting. I know there were questions asked about the baby and his colouring because it also happened to me. It's a thing that happens when you're a mixed race woman with a white man. Meghan couldn't have come up with that on her own, it rings too true.

As for racism, my father was in the army during the Korean War. Before he left to fight, Princess Elizabeth visited to inspect the troops. My father was told to stand down because the eventual queen would be most uncomfortable shaking his black hand. He refused. My point is, the racism goes deep.

As for Piers, he's got a bee in his bonnet about her. Honestly, I think he's wildly attracted to her and in true 13 year old fashion, can't have her, so hates her.
