I literally published a poem I wrote 25 years ago about this kind of thing yesterday.

…ou know what I really dislike? When some judgey, insensitive jerkface (usually a politician) says, “If you’re poor, you should have saved more and been prepared. You need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps.”
