I LOVED Home and Away back in the day! In Canada from 1988-1995, it aired on YTV. We were about 6 months behind what was being shown in Australia. As a teenager, I had the biggest crush on Alex Papps (Frank).

I can't watch the current show. It's strayed from its original charm of regular people trying to get through life to something more glamorous and closer to an American soap opera.

It kinda started to go downhill for me when they swapped out Pippas. Then, Roo...come on, Georgie Parker looks no more like Ruth Stewart than I look like Alf.

Speaking of Alf....I love that flamin' mongrel!
