I Took The Plunge & Joined Simily
After reading a couple of Kristina God’s stories about a new writing platform called Simily, curiosity finally got the best of me and I joined. After receiving a free year of Vocal +, I had a little extra cash to throw into writing platforms, so why not, right?
It looks pretty good so far. I like that they pay by PayPal (there’s a minimum payout of $10 though).
I think I’m going to use it for fiction mostly, and maybe some poetry. I’ve been wanting to work more on developing my fiction writing as I know it’s not where my natural strengths lie. That being said, the plan is to eventually post my fiction exclusively there as it seems more geared toward that. We’ll see how it goes.
I’m still figuring out how the site works, but so far, so good. I’ve been on since late last night and I’m up 12 cents.
