I don't know if you remember Surya Bonaly. She was a French figure skater in the 90s. Oh and she's Black, And racism! That girl had more grace and athleticism than any of the other women and men combined, but what she got was marked down and criticized. When she refused to stand for it, she was labeled difficult and a poor sport because, you know, a Black woman is apparently supposed to shut up and stay in her corner.
