I was on the fence too. I've won 2 challenges and frankly, I think I deserved to win them. But there have been challenges where the winners left me scratching my head. The rule breaking infuriated the living hell out of me! After my wins, it was like Vocal completely forgot about me; I couldn't do right for doing wrong. Everything I wrote was essentially ignored. It was like I was being ghosted.

And just like that toxic boyfriend from high school that plays hot and cold, Vocal drew me back in at the 11th hour by shortlisting one of my pieces for the Fiction Awards and now I've got a free year of Vocal+ which I will take advantage of. So I guess I'm still in for the next 12 months, then, we'll see what happens.
