Follow for follow never works. Take it from someone who's been there. I started here at the very end of July. I was grandfathered in, thankfully.

Now I'm 7 1/2 months in, a little over 1K followers and making 300-800 per month depending on the month. There are no secrets, there are no shortcuts. Write quality content and honestly engage with the content of others you enjoy. Write your stuff, and read, and read some more, and comment, clap and repeat. Many of those you engage honestly with will also engage with you.

This is a long game. It takes time to build a following. I'm going to follow you and see what your work is like. I like what I've read thus far. Don't give up, write, read, read, read some more, clap, comment, repeat. Not only will you learn something, you'll gain an audience and even better, you'll gain friends.
