I'm an athiest and I approve this message. I was rasied strict Baptist, not just Baptist, but Black Baptist....as a Christian, I'm sure you know what I mean. I found myself drawn to Judiasm for decades and almost converted, but backed out because of the belif in god thing.

Often I wish I could believe. it would make things easier and provide some comfort. But I can't. I've weighed the evidence for myself. I've read the Bible and found the contradictions. Can't get there.

That said, I applaud your reasonable and open-minded approach. I don't believe what you do, but I'd fight to my last breath for you to be free to believe it. I'm of the mind that if it gives a person comfort and a system for living, I'm all for it, whatever it is, as long as it's not forced on me, I'm good.
