I'm Autistic and don't feel the need to use big words. Personally, I don't see using common language as "simple thinking," quite the contrary, to be able to break things down into simple terms is evidence of understanding. But hey, that might just be me.

That being said, if someone is using language that's just way too simple, well, that's absolutely battery acid territory and fills me with rage. :)
