I'm disappointed you didn't win, and coming so close, I get how that stings, somehow e en worse than losing by a landslide.

However, where I sit, I see so much. I see a proud Black woman who got out there and obviously, by the numbers, something you said resonated. I see courage and conviction.

Damn I wish you were in Canada to run for office! The world needs more people like you.

It may not feel like it now, but you contributed to very real change. I hope you continue to do so, both in your writing and political endeavors.
