I'm glad you were able to respond. My son is going through something similar, but his girlfriend is not only troubled, but violent, toward him. He wants to save her. He wants to make it all better because she's a war refugee from the Ukraine. He doesn't want to get the cops involved because he doesn't want her sent back.

The girl isn't the worst person in the world, but she needs help, help she's unwilling to get at this point. And it's a shame because she has man good qualities,
