I'm going to try to tread carefully here, but not too carefully. You sound like the male version of me. I'm 51, but I move quick, and when I'm ready to go, it's fuckign time to go. I don't like shopping and I just get in and out to get it done.

That said, it sounds to me like you're choosing the wrong women. Maybe they're more laid back, due to culture or upbringing, I don't know.

The picture you have, there's a beautiful woman by your side. Is that it? Are you looking for a younger, gorgeous woman to be on your arm? Or are you looking for a true relationship?

You say you "explain how you are." Cool, you try that explaining shit on someone like me and I'll be explaining your ass right out the door. I don't mean to be harsh, but there's a tone of condesention to that that rubs me a certain way. And referring to "someone holding you back," come on, you're a smart guy, that's just demeaning.

You're not asking too much if that's what you want and need. You have the right to be in the type of relationship you want, but it's going to take compromise on both sides. It just seems to me you really aren't ready for compromise and might be fishing in the wrong pool. But hey, what do I know, I'm just a happily married, rigid, fast moving middle-aged woman. :)
