I'm mixed race and very thin, but my middle son, much like your son, was on the chubby side as a young child. He's now 29, 6 foot 4 and thin. He never cared for sweets as a child and still doesn't.

It astounds me how ignorant so-called midical professionals can be, but then again, it doesn't.
