I'm not exactly a liberal or a conservative. I'm a social liberal, but more of a fiscal conservative. That said, I agree with your points. Being so entrenched in your own ideology and not willing to take the blinders off the think critically and evaluate a candidate on his/her entirety is a troubling and dangerous thing. I see it on both sides and sadly, those on the left that do this with Biden are really going to be the ones that, in effect, get Trump elected again. We have to be able to evaluate the pros and cons. No candidate is perfect, no candidate ever has been perfect.
