I'm so sorry for your recent entanglement. I don't even know what to say. I'm able bodied, White presenting (but mixed race) and kinda still cute despite my age, so I can't say I've walked in your shoes.

That said, I do have a friend who is in the same boat. Brilliant, morbidly obese, with a whole host if problems, including heart and breathing issues. And at 61 he's still looking. It doesn't look good.

I have no answers. But I get the need for companionship, the need to be seen and loved as a person, separate and apart from whatever disability exists.
