I'm sure you would have loved for me to own my "thin privilege", but that wasn't the point of the article and I'm pretty sure you know that. I fear you're being intentionally obtuse in pretending not to get the point. I have no issues with my body at this point. I'm aware of what I look like and how society views me. And yes, I am aware that it is a privilege to be considered among those fitting into society's current beauty ideal and I'm sure I've benefited greatly from it, due to what, for me, really is basically a function of genetics. And I know that larger people have been marginalized, abused, etc., but (and pay attention, here comes the point, again), that doesn't make it okay for them to marginalize, taunt and abuse me or people that look like me and try to wrap that abuse in a pretty bow and call it "body positivity". If you can't see how the memes pictured in the post and others like them that suggest that I, due to my size, am not "real" , look like a child, or am somehow unhappy and deprived in a corner sucking on celery and sipping water, are abusive ... well, that's on you.
