It looks like he will win. I wrote a couple pieces on this, but along with what you noted, the Dems are focusing on the wrong things. Let me correct that, the radical left is focusing on the wrong things. Airy fairy theories about metadata and SCOTUS, and "Orange Man Bad," aren't useful. We need to get out there, talk to people, find a platform that's more than "we ain't that guy." Trump's base is fired up and will crawl over hot glass to get to the polls. Biden supporters don't have the same fire and his not being Trump isn't enough. I'm not even American. I'm Canadian, but we're seeing the MAGA BS up here too. I seriously fear for humanity.
