It's bad in NB and NS too. I'm a native East coaster and moved to ON about 7 years ago (and left there a couple months ago.

The past couple years, I've read horror stories of people dying, literally dying in waiting rooms. Waits of well over a day, people in hallways, closets, you name it. In NB last year a victim of sexual assault was sent home...SENT HOME from an ER in Fredericton because there was no nurse on duty who could do a rape kit.

My mother waited, in hospital for over 9 months for a nursing home bed, got MRSA too, while she was in there.

I'm thankful I'm healthy, right now. But this is nuts. It feels like the governments are half assed funding and half assed managing the system. I could go on for days. I might....
