I've found so many of those stories on Vocal. it was bad before when they had moderators that read and approved stories before they were published (all kinds of garbage slipped through the cracks). But now that they're instantly approving things....wow!

I've been on Vocal more than a year. I've won and/or placed in 5 or 6 challenges and I still can't get decent reads. Whereas here on Medium, well, I do pretty well. I'm hanging around for the remainder of my free year, but after that, unless something drastically changes, I'm out. There's a company that's severely lacking in identiity and direction and it shows.
