I've lived in Canada all my life. I'm so glad it was a safe and welcoming place for you. It wasn't as much for my family and the Black community. But, compared to the US, we look pretty good.

My fear now is we're becoming more and more consumed by the US....there's a tide of MAGA-esque hate that is getting louder and louder. Thank you for pointing out the good, but we have a long way to go still and can do better. And we need to resist the darkness that's lurking
