I've won 3 challenges and placed a couple of times on Vocal and I think your idea is awesome. After almost every challenge there's a lot of griping about the winners. Not as much as there used to be, but still.

I myself, and I've done well, have often questioned the choices the judges have made from time to time, especially when the stories are poorly written. I get there's a difference between writing and storytelling, but poor writing takes away from the story, if that makes sense.
